Our chefs aim to elevate every ingredient to its optimal level, crafting meals that leave a lasting impression on our customers. By continuously traveling between Singapore and Japan, we source seasonal ingredients and gain inspiration from the ever-changing seasons. New ingredients and techniques are explored, and classical traditional dishes are often revived.

The Concept of Omakase
Omakase, the choice of the true gastronomist.. Omakase literally means “its up to you” from the Japanese word 任す, entrust.
It is this principle of entrusting what to eat for your meal to the chef that guides our team to deliver to you the highest quality dining experience at reasonable prices.
Omakase dining is where customers entrusts the chef to decide what to serve and the menu is not fixed.
This concept is popular with Japanese patrons and Singaporean professionals who are looking to be relieved of decision-making over their meal and instead choosing to be delightfully surprised by the chef’s selections.

Celebrated Mother’s Day at Hachi Restaurant and had an amazing experience with their shiki omakase in spring paired with sake. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delightful, with ingredients that tasted incredibly fresh and seasonal. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality from the staff and head chef — everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. The whole dining experience felt intimate and heartfelt. A wonderful place for a special occasion, and definitely one we would love to return to again.
I had one of the best set lunches at Hachi in Keppel South Central. The Kaiden Chirashi-don was incredibly decadent, and Hachi was especially generous with the sashimi portions, as you can see from the photos. My friend ordered the Wagyu Souryu Don, and the wagyu was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. To top it all off, the set lunch came with a dessert that rounded off the meal perfectly. Highly recommend to give this place a try.

I went with my family and the food was very fresh and tasty. There was well pacing of the omakase and not rushed. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming.

Best omakase experience I ever had. Served by the head chef server of Hachi Restaurant, each dish was served with precise instructions and explanation of what the chefs used in detailed. Each dish was amazingly delicious using all fine and quality ingredients that I fel so satisfied and fulfilled after each dish. Service was prompt and on point. Really enjoyed my 1st omakase experience here at Hachi and will be back again.
One of the most exciting and most excellent experiences we have ever had. The chef created unforgettable mouthwatering and surprising dishes with the freshest finest ingredients. The service explained everything you needed and wanted to know. We highly recommend this cosy Japanese restaurant, if you like extraordinary outstanding experiences.

My fiancé surprised me with a Japanese omakase at Hachi for my birthday. We loved the food! In terms of dishes, standout for us was the chutoro with pinenut/anchovy dressing and the yakimono A5 wagyu, though we truly enjoyed all the dishes. An extra call out for the take-away dessert (a warm red bean pastry) to make sure our hearts and bellied were filled 😊. The 3 course sake add-on for $38 was good value too 🍶. All the chefs and staff were attentive and so friendly! Easy to have a chat with and we appreciated all the nice gestures to celebrate my birthday too. We’ll be recommending this place to our fam & friends - thank you for a lovely Wednesday evening 🍣❤️.
Weekday Lunch hour/ Omakase set Atmosphere: Tranquill Service staff: kind and pays attention to detail. They offered a box to place my bag, a shawl if i were cold, and even re-adjusted my cutlery when they noticed I was left handed!! Amazing! 1st restaurant staff to have ever done so 👏 Food: Fine attention to detail and flavour. Food displays were amazing and the flavours all came together beautifully. Food were all SO fresh, made my mouth feel like i was on cloud 9. Loved my experience there, thank you all so much 💗
